This is a work in progress for the flipped normals challenge ‘Fairytales Reimagined’. I have decided to reimagine the fairytale character Robin Hood. I have decided to make a modern day female Robin Hood, who is a hacker vigilante which takes from the rich and gives to the poor. I have never created a real-time game character before so this will undoubtedly be a big challenge!
You can check out the development of the character here:
This is a personal project which is still in progress, I have been working on improving the overall look and textures.
Inspired by the Golden-Snub Nosed Monkey and the habitat it lives in, Phoebe aims to create a mountainous winter environment that encapsulates the baby Snub-Nosed Monkey who lives in isolation. The focus of the project was primarily to animate a stylized creature within a 3D environment and create a full groom using xGen. Phoebe has thoroughly enjoyed being able to combine her illustrative style with her new found skills as a 3D artist.
I created this 3D illustration in Maya, box modelled the model and created the hair using xGen.
This was my first design and modelling assignment for my MA at the NCCA at Bournemouth University. Based off of the film Shaun of the Dead by Edgar Wright .
‘I love you, I love you too’ shares a hard story of loss, devastation, but most importantly love.
‘Summer Rain’ is an exploration of what it means to “grow up”, and the confusion of holding on to the nostalgia of childhood.
'Enough is Enough' is a fun animation depicting the words of Laura Bates's speech on 'Everyday Sexism'.
This was the first project I worked on in 3D computer animation. I thoroughly enjoyed being able to learn the foundations of animation.
Nostalgia is an experimental piece, focused on emulating the action of mentally projecting our memories of nature into our mind when surrounded by unnatural surroundings.
‘Puppet Man’ is a short puppet film about the chaos of everyday life. Using a mixture of live action film and stop motion, the story of the puppet man is one lived by many.
Being let go by his employee who he had stayed loyal to for many years, time stops. Only until he makes a crucial decision, time will return to normality. Symbolising the fact that he can finally move on.

During my time at Sky Chemicals I designed and created a responsive website for their new company ‘Peracide’.
I used HTML5, CSS3, Javascript and JQuery to create the website. I also directed and photographed the product, taking photos of the product in it’s areas of applications, and also artistic up close photos in a professional photo studio.
Sheffield Hallam’s Student Union bar the ‘Hideout’ has recently undergone a complete refurbishment in which they wanted a new logo, mural and toilet door signs for. I designed the logo, alongside the male and female toilet door signs. I helped design the ‘Hallam ‘till I die’ Mural and alternate toilet door sign. The bar had a botanical theme but with a modern twist.
Wikifactory is a social design and production platform based in Madrid, also with an office in Chengdu, China. Which is where my placement took place.
I provided content for the website, by sourcing articles, relevant publishers and academic reports, so that future users had an array of information and inspiration to look through.
I was given the opportunity to create ‘call to action’ cards for the website, the purpose of this was to add excitement and creativity to the newly published website, and to motivate new users in to using the various functions of the website. For this I used Illustrator. I also used the software Autodesk fusion 360 and AutoCAD to create small 3D models using a 3D printer, this was to be used as content for the website.
The black tent is the tent of the Bible, the Jews, and the Arabs, and a hundred other tribes scattered over Africa and Asia. These camps were seen as a place of beauty, love, warmth and comfort. But now tents and camps are commonly associated with people who have lost their homes due to conflict, natural disasters and a broken society.
This project was about overcoming the stigmatisation of prosthetics by making them more desirable through the use of packaging. The packaging was specifically aimed for upper body limb prosthetics, I wanted to create something that was contemporary and bespoke.
The varying structures of tents is what drove me to creating this publication, I found it interesting that across the world there were certain structures of tents, that had to be built in specific ways. I wanted the shapes of these structures to stand out by using bright and vibrant colours.
The bag that I made out of tent like material, was made to add authenticity to the publication.
The reader would have to unzip the tent bag to read the book, replicating the action of actually setting up a tent.
EDLounge is a unique whole school management and learning solution online. I created posters for the companies building, promotional material for the BETT 2018 show, and worked on their online platform making the whole platform easier to navigate, with a more contemporary feel.
